Plant friends

There is no doubt that succulents are the best plants around. Especially in this warm California weather, they are by far the easiest to take care of, last a long time, and are so unique. My sister and I love to craft, so this was a fun activity to do together. She was amazing enough to get all the supplies, which mainly came from Home Depot. All you really need is some soil, charcoal or rocks (keeps soil fresh), sand, succulents, a glass container, and whatever else you would like to add. I used shells, drift wood, sea glass, and colored rocks/beads. What's so cool about making a terrarium is that even though everyone is using the same materials, each person's turns out differently in their own unique way. I love expressing my creativity and, at the same time, creating something beautiful that I will treasure for a while.

Gardening is so therapeutic- it allows you to get close to nature and appreciate its beauty. I have little plant friends all over my room, and this is one is already my favorite. I'll always be reminded of this day with my sister. We laughed at the fact that it was so hot outside that we had to go inside and turn on the AC in the middle of November. We screamed in horror when the thorns from the cacti pierced our fingers (we should've known better). We sipped on cappuccinos and and enjoyed each other's company, and that's all I could've asked for. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! <3 xo

three. years.

Just a few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I celebrated our three year anniversary. What. Where did the time go?! It can be a scary thing when time seems to flash before your eyes and you are left with a mix of jumbled memories and new experiences. When I look back at Justin and I's relationship, I think about adventures, laughter, food, besos, and tender loving. We've come a long way and have come to love each other in a whole new light. Love in an incredible thing and can drive a person to do unimaginable things. Sometimes it's hurtful, rewarding, testable, and powerful. Every couple's relationship is different, and, no, not one is more perfect than the other. I think what two people share on an intimate level contains something so special and unique that is unlike any others. What me and Justin share is silly, quirky, serious, playful, motivating, passionate, and real. Nothing more real than what feels like our two hearts beating as one. When you feel that close to someone, nothing else is nearly as important as to, "When am I going to see you next"?

Three years is big. I am full of love and happiness and I have Justin to thank for that. Thank you for making me the happiest lady. I love you! <3
